Cornerstone onDemand Principal BI Program Manager in Hyderabad, India
Cornerstone is looking for a seasoned
and highly driven Principal, BI Technical Program Manager to join our IT Enterprise
Data and Analytics (EDA) team who will play a key role in leading enterprise
cross-functional BI programs.
This is a highly visible hands-on role
where you will be working alongside business and technical leaders on the
execution of BI programs that align with the overall strategy and goals of the IT
EDA team. You are hands-on team player, that is eager to learn and grow in a
fast paced and high impact domain.

necessary for you to have a natural analytical way of thinking, a collaborative
working and communication style, strong stakeholder management skills across
all levels of an organization, solid change management skills, and clear sense
of ownership and accountability.
In this role you will…
Lead and support the implementation of IT EDA’s cross functional strategic programs. This includes orchestration of activities, execution on plans, and working with existing and acquired teams to ensure smooth delivery.
Proactively drive results by owning the management & delivery of data warehouse & analytics programs, managing risks and issues, and leading to achieve desired goals while keeping cross functional teams accountable to program objectives.
Experience setting up Operating Model, governance structure, program priorities and managing cross functional roadmaps.
Work closely with various stakeholders (business and IT) at all levels of the organization and across cross-functional teams, clearly and effectively communicate BI roadmap, recommendations and status of projects.
Comfortable presenting to and leading meetings with/at VP level.
Function as a sprint master for production support enhancements sprints as needed.
Utilize change management techniques to provide clear communication and coordination within all areas affected by projects.
Create and manage methods of reporting metrics, operational status and efforts.
Perform Scrum Master duties including facilitating sprint planning, standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives and release planning.
You have what it takes if you have…
10+ years of implementing Datawarehouse projects which includes data ingestion, data processing, data management and data analytics in technology companies.
Experience implementing projects involving BI tools like Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt, Mulesoft, Redshift, Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Airflow.
Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and role of ETL and reporting tools in the data architecture.
Prior experience as a Data or Analytics Architect/Engineer.
Good understanding of business use cases and metrics in a SaaS or Technology business.
10+ years of project/program management experience, including planning and management, issues/risk management, testing, including processes, reporting, and project management tools.
Change management experience.
Strong proficiency in SDLC, Jira and Agile best practices.
Ability to work in hybrid and agile methodology.
Strong sense of ownership and accountability, a self-starter.
Reputation for excellence and demonstrated experience in delivering top cross-functional enterprise data and analytics programs in fast-paced technical environments.
Proven experience getting results in complex cross-functional environments, as well as managing projects in multi-cultural, multi-time zone settings.
Disciplined, process-oriented, and loves the details, while seeing the big picture.
Collaboration-first mindset, an organizational “connector” that easily works across organizational boundaries. Influencing without authority, and building rapport with senior stakeholders, outside of the immediate team.
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with others to determine, and execute, acceptable solutions.
Exemplary written and verbal communication skills including the ability to concisely communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
Demonstrated ability of working in a busy and highly collaborative environmentConsideration for privacy and security obligations.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Technology or equivalent work experienc
