Job function: Software Development Video EmbeddEngineer

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Skills/experience:

Engineer: 3-6 years’ experience

Solid C\C++, multithreading and OS concepts\fundamentals.

Good analytical and problem solving skills.

Experience in Android multimedia framework and\or Video4Linux2 (V4L2).

Knowledge of Video user space hardware abstraction layers like Codec2.0, OpenMax IL.

Linux Operating system (Kernel, Performance).

Knowledge of video specification such as H.265/H.264/VP8/VP9

Experience in several of the following areas: (Good to have)

• Video usage models including playback, streaming, camcorder, and content protection

• Android multimedia frameworks and video related applications

• Streaming protocols and implementation (e.g HLS/HTTP/RTSP/DASH)

• Linux device driver development and debugging (e.g. V4L2)

• Expertise in working with tools and techniques used on Linux (Windbg, JTAG, etc.)

• ARM or other embedded SoC development and debugging

Responsibilities:

Part of video development team and will be responsible for design, development, optimization and productize video use cases on Android and Linux mobile platforms.
