Job Description Summary

The Strategic Sourcing Planner assists and supports the development and design of processes, objectives, and metrics to ensure that quality approved API is delivered on time and in full, leading to API Sourcing function success. This role is responsible for maintaining effective and efficient relationships with external partners and internal cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Development, Technical Operations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Program Management and R&D.

Job Description

The Supply Chain Planner assists in production planning, production procurement, inventory management, logistics readiness and analytical requirements for the execution of internal/ external manufactured products.

Providing input into Endo’s S&OP process, this role will ensure sustained product supply, meet inventory turns target (DIO), achieve Delivery In Full and on time (DIFOT) and work directly with vendors.

Facilitates the production planning, production procurement and inventory management.

Inventory Management & Reconciliation

  • Utilizing SAP ECC, record snapshot of inventory in virtual SAP plants each month, comparing and reconciling any differences first with vendor, vetting inventory write-offs with management for approval.

  • Review and investigate inventory reconciliation of finished products, bulk, and API to ensure it is accurate and aligned with Finance.

Production Planning

  • Utilizing SAP, analyze MRP batch run at supply operations virtual plant.

  • Ensure production plans are maintained month’s 0 to 24.

  • Make necessary adjustments to production plans to ensure forecast/commercial requirements and inventory targets are met.

  • Generate and submit MPP’s to Supply Chain Manager for approval.

  • Ensure all ECC master data is accurate.

Production Procurement

  • Utilizing SAP ECC, create, issue, and maintain all purchase orders associated with the MPP; rigorously maintain correct PO data (delivery date, quantity, cost, etc) and status.

Logistics Readiness & Execution

  • Work closely with the Logistic team / freight forwarder and vendor to ensure timely shipment of products to distribution centers.

  • Create and maintain supply chain maps for all products.

S&OP

  • Provide input into monthly S&OP meetings when required.

Participation & Issue Resolution

  • Participate in business review meetings.

  • Attend scheduled supply chain vendor management meetings.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management is required.

  • 1-2 years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience in supply chain and manufacturing is desired.

  • Experience in managing the supply chain management function in a fast-paced environment is desirable.

Knowledge

  • Basic knowledge of supply chain processes and systems for sourcing drug products and active pharmaceutical ingredients.

  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work effectively in matrix organizations.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Working knowledge of SAP and Tableau is desirable.

  • Ability to independently evaluate, assess and initiate action; recognition of positive and negative impacts of actions, decisions, other market forces on business and people.

  • Ability to work cross functionally, recognition of positive and negative impacts of actions, decisions.

Physical Requirements

  • Business travel may be required.
