JTEC Market Maker/Employer Liaison in Hyannis, Massachusetts
Market Maker/Employer Liaison MassHire Cape & Islands Career Center This is an in-office/ on the road position. The Market Maker/Employer Liaison is a member of the MassHire Business Services Team. The Market Maker/Employer Liaison: Builds relationships with businesses & industry associations seeking trained workers to fill open positions in the region?s priority industries & occupations. Guides employers towards relevant funding & grant opportunities in the state. Refers them to potential training partners, including regional vocational schools. Identifies & engages with community-based organizations within the region to collaborate to exp& awareness, recruitment, & participation of unemployed & underemployed adult workers/job seekers to become re-employed in high dem& industries. Required: Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communication or related field. A minimum of 5 years\' experience in Business Development, B2B Sales or Workforce Development or a combination of training & experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills, & abilities. Computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Excellent communication skills -both verbal & written Driver\'s license & reliable transportation - mileage provided. Familiarity with Cape & Islands business community a plus. This is a 35- hour work week position.
