Job Summary:

Responsible for contract management of a 3PL managed warehouse operation as well as ensuring product distribution to customer- and replenishment locations. This includes managing the relationship CBS Logistics management, Planning, Manufacturing, Vendors, Transportation planning, carriers and 3rd party warehouse providers. The position also includes monitoring and maintaining compliance of the warehouse with domestic- and CP regulatory, quality and safety regulations.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support green field warehouse implementation in 2024/25 as a key member of the project team and future ‘owner’ of both plant- and external mixing center.

• Manage relationships with 3rd Party Provider and their performance levels

• Manage 3PL contract

• Provide support for Customer Service and Transportation departments in order to achieve high service levels

• Providesupport for Manufacturing and Transportation to solve Supply Chain issues

• Maintain proper control procedures at the location to ensure the safety of company assets

• Responsible for development and attainment of operational budgets for the warehouse

• Align with 3PL on resource planning and review actuals

• Monthly review of efficiency KPIs with 3PL, and ensure corrective actions.

• Responsible for checking of 3PL invoices and volumes

• Work with Hill’s plants and 3PL to implement processes to reduce Total Supply Chain Cost

• Implement and execute continuous improvement projects in order to achieve operational cost reduction opportunities for Hill’s and 3rd Party Providers

• Identify and implement Hill’s/Colgate Warehousing Best Practices

• Assist in 3PL bid and selection process

• Act as project manager for new implementations

• Ensure compliance to Food Standards (AiB) in warehouse location

• Ensure Safety compliance of warehouse operation

• Responsible for inventory integrity and ensuring daily inventory reconciliation takes place between 3PL and Hill’s inventory systems.

• Maintain all proper procedures and record keeping for the warehouse location to achieve compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and internal audits

• Leading sustainability initiatives for the warehouse location.

• Be liaison between Hill’s and 3PL

• Ensure efficient fulfillment plan by coordination with the transport planning team.

• Lead wall 2 wall inventory counts

• Lead monthly business review sessions with 3PL

Education/ Experience Requirements:

Preferred qualifications include:

• Minimum 3 years warehouse operations or broad knowledge of transport and delivery services operations

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience

• Strong interpersonal and communication Skills

• Strong business and process management skills

• Experience in supervising and/or coaching and developing others is required

• Highly motivated individual with strong analytical/problem solving skills

• Strong PC skills required

• Experience with SAP/WMS

Expected Areas of Skill:

• Completely fluent in English.

• Computer literate: Google sheets & slides, SAP, WMS

• Good communication skills

• Problem solving attitude

• Team player
