Nou Systems, Inc. Undergraduate Intern – Software Development Concentration in Huntsville, Alabama

We are pleased to announce openings for Undergraduate Student Internships as part of our nSIGHT (nSI Student Internship to Gain High-tech Training) program. nSIGHT interns will have the opportunity to join various teams in Huntsville, Alabama and gain experience in our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces.

nSIGHT offers positions for undergraduate student interns that will occur either during a single semester or year-round, and each intern’s experience could be different depending on the programs they support. Responsibilities:

As a Software Development Intern, you'll work closely with experienced professionals to contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions. Your responsibilities will include coding, problem-solving, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. You'll have opportunities for continuous learning and growth, with access to resources and support to expand your skills and expertise. By the end of your internship, you'll emerge as a proficient software developer, ready to take on new challenges and contribute to our team's success.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Current active status as an undergraduate student in an accredited university

  • A GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Knowledge of basic concepts, practices, and procedures within your field of specialty

  • You must pass a background investigation.

  • You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this position.

Lacking any one of these disqualifies you from this job.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Application of engineering principles and scientific investigative techniques to support planning, analysis, assessment, and reporting activities to accomplish customer requirements.

  • Experience with software development using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or other web development languages and frameworks.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and proficiency with MS Office.
