Manages those who apply quality principles in the areas of: design, incoming material, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality for make and/or buy products. Performs technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures. Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place. Engages in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action. Ensures corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements. Develops strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity. Evaluates quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts product quality tests, performs statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors or higher level technical degree or related degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.

Experience with Quality systems and/ or tools

Must be able to perform in a team and customer-focused work environment, maintaining effective communication with internal / external customers.

Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Desired Skills:

Executive Presence

Proficient in Microsoft Office, TEAMS, PowerPoint, SharePoint

CAM certification

Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification or ASQ Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)

Ability to coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Programs on product quality issues and effective issue resolution.

Knowledge of Lockheed Martin processes, and procedures related to development and production (e.g. Non-conforming material management, etc.)

Previous Quality experience, interpreting and applying contractual and AS9100 / ISO90001 requirements

Previous experience performing Hardware Acceptance and DD250

Strong product and process knowledge Excellent technical skills, communication and presentation skills

Demonstrated talent development and team building skills

High energy, self-starting, team player who achieves goals

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
