CGI Government Procurement Analyst in Huntsville, Alabama

Position Description:

Selected candidate(s) will join a team providing procurement systems support to our customer on site at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. Candidate should have experience in federal procurement as well as federal IT systems to help non-technical end users maximize their use/productivity of the system. Knowledge of pre-award/award/post-award processes and ability to learn how to execute those processes within the software solution is key. Training on the solution is available. Candidate will serve as a customer advocate and be able to seek out/identify the customers pain points and present them to other subject matter experts and technologists to devise solutions to improve operations for end users such as contract specialists and contracting officers.

This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Provide subject matter expertise and assistance to the customer using the contract writing solution to help end users perform federal acquisitions for pre-award, award, and post-award processes.

Work with the customer and the system to identify and implement business process efficiencies for the customer.

Provide input on training needs.

Engage directly with the customer, facilitate discussions, and research regulations that impact the government policies/procedures.

Analyze business processes and their impact on the solution. Liaise with various teams to ensure compliance and knowledge sharing

Applicants should have extensive experience with federal civilian and/or intelligence community contracting and a firm grasp on using systems to support contracting activities.

Knowledge of the federal acquisition processes, regulations, directives, and instructions.

Experience working with the FAR and federal acquisitions systems

Ability to identify and define requirements of specific technical, training, and support areas for procurement business processes.

Hands-on familiarity with contracting solutions, such as commercially-provided contract writing systems.

Ability to independently facilitate sessions with the customer about policies/procedures and their impact on the system.

Ability to translate customer requirements into system solutions and processes

TS Clearance required

Warranted Contracting Officer experience preferred.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $55,600.00 - $118,700.00.
