Drive the development of the site Planning and Inventory strategies, monitor the team performance and metrics. Incorporate the Planning and Inventory vision into all elements of the plan. Recognize subject matter experts on Planning and Inventory process, tools and applications. Manage a team of direct and indirect resources to effectively support the execution of the strategy deployment plans. Contributes to multi-functional, regional or global assignments

Detailed Description

  • Responsible for ATS Global GM Asset Management Operating System that governs Working Capital performance.

  • Accountable for orchestrating & facilitating engagements with ATS Sites to achieve AOP objectives.

  • Accountable for ATS & Site Inventory results.

  • Responsible for contributions / helping to orchestrate the Annual STRAT (3yr Working Capital Strategy Plan) and AOP plans for ATS/Sites/Customers.

  • Responsible for ensuring Site/CFT Inventory projections are reliable, complete & accurate.

  • Responsible achieve E&O to goals & control E&O Inventory (including review of Financial Impact Analysis (FIA), understanding & operationalizing E&O Customer Contracts, support Claim timeliness/readiness/preparedness/closure).

  • Responsible for ensuring an Entitlement (Quote Turn) Plan exists for each Site/CFT. Drives stakeholder network to close planned actions that enable Entitlement performance.

  • Responsible to lead initiatives/actions intended to micro-control Supply-Demand Management – act with the assistance of the extended SC network to avoid un-necessary Scheduled & Planned Orders & minimize E&O creation.

  • Build strong working relationships with Site GM’s, SSCM managers and Customer GCBU VP/GMs/Dirs.

  • Responsible for monitoring Planning, Procurement, Inventory Metrics and SC KRIs.

  • Leads the network through SCM KRI improvement & performance.

  • Leadership role in SCM KRI governance & its Management Operating System leading to SCM KRI performance to objectives.

  • Responsible for ensuring Celestica is compliant with internal SCM KRI requirements in alignment with procedures and policies.

  • Responsible for monitoring/oversighting select SIOP submissions to ensure process is followed according to the Procedure (Including Demand Management, MPS Analysis, Production Schedule, etc). Act on SIOPs that will negatively affect E&O and Inventory.

  • Partners with the Corp. SC Team on Entitlement enablement & management operating system.

  • Responsible for reviewing & oversighting ATS Site Planning Parameters are correct/maintained.

  • Responsible for reviewing & assessing Inventory Investments and their impact on Inventory performance.

  • Responsible for ensuring proper sizing of SS / ROP, and that execution is delivering the expected optimized Inventory/Benefit.

  • Responsible for ensuring a Supply Flex Strategy/Plan exits for each Site, that there is a MOS driving/closing Flexibility Program opportunity with Suppliers.

  • Ensures Site/CFT Flex execution is enabling the performance objectives/benefits.

  • Lead continuous improvements of SCM function through interactions with other departments.

  • Lead Rapid Response innovations & deployments required to improve working capital management.

  • Lead/Assist with Rapid Response capability deployments into ATS, and realizing their benefits.

  • Participates in process improvements to help achieve inventory targets and maximize return on investment in alignment with the Corp Supply Chain Team.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

  • Broad knowledge of an electronic manufacturing environment, materials and processes.

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of global supply chain management and working capital management/control.

  • Good understanding of IT concepts and integrated business applications.

  • Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem resolution skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks on a global scale, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight deadlines.

  • Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers. Strong presentation skills.

  • Ability to effectively lead, manage, assess, train and motivate a diverse group of employees.

  • ERP System Logic Understanding.

  • Rapid Response Kinaxis System Knowledge.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Knowledge.

  • Basic Statistical Analysis Knowledge applied to Supply Chain.

  • Knowledge in Operating system ERP, SCM sub application related to suppliers’ collaboration & communication beside Reports & analysis application basics.

  • Knowledge of purchasing processes and procedures.

  • Strong knowledge in Inventory Forecasting, E&O burn down modeling/analytics.

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Planning, Procurement & Manufacturing parameter.

  • Experience with the interpretation of Customer Contracts, with strong ability to operationalize the terms for Claims/Prevention.

  • Provide guidance and direction to Sites/CFTs and the extended network

  • Builds/Maintains strong relationship with GM, Site SCM, Site CFT, GCBU, SSCM, Corp. SC.

Physical Demands

Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.

Duties of this position require continuous light physical effort and exertion including prolonged repetitive motion, standing, sitting in a confined work space,

Occasional overnight travel is required.

Typical Experience

10+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

A solid understanding of electronics manufacturing and planning is required.

Understand the industry in which the customer resides.

Understand the requirements for flexibility, cost and quality that will be needed by the customer.

Define and monitor key performance metrics.

Establish and grow internal and external relationships throughout multiple business levels of the account (Buyers, Planners, Managers, Directors and others).

Typical Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Materials Logistics Management, or related discipline, or an equivalent proven track record in an EMS or similar environment.

Salary Range: $119k-187k Annually
