PPT Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist in Huntsville, Alabama.
Job Overview for the Configuration Management Specialist:
The Configuration Management Specialist will have the responsibility for facilitating Configuration Control Boards, controlling/preparing baselines and preparing material for distribution and release. Position requires use of an automated configuration management tool for version control and change management. Must also prepare configuration management documentation, e.g. CCB meeting minutes, Configuration Management Plan, etc.
Required Qualifications for the Configuration Management Specialist:
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree OR a high school diploma and four (4) years of experience
Detail-oriented with good communication skills, both oral and written
Understanding of version control, preferably from using an automated configuration management system
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the required level
Must be a US Citizen
Desired Qualifications for the Configuration Management Specialist:
Process-oriented (i.e. CMMI, ITIL, ISO)
User support, Tech Writing, Dimensions CM
