Job Title: TIG Welder / Fabricator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder/Fabricator to assist in completing complex stainless steel jobs. You will be responsible for reading welding blueprints, distinguishing welding call outs, determining component layout, performing TIG welding, occasional MIG welding, and finishing work, including secondary operations. This role offers a variety of tasks throughout the day.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret welding blueprints
Distinguish welding call outs
Determine component layout
Perform TIG welding
Perform occasional MIG welding
Complete finishing work and secondary operations
Essential Skills
4 years of TIG welding experience
3 years of experience with stainless steel TIG welding
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
High attention to detail
Experience with food grade materials
Ability to fabricate stainless steel and aluminum components
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must own a welding helmet and gloves
Willingness to travel and work on contract for 6 months
Experience with full fabrication process

Work Environment
The work will take place in a large fabrication shop specializing in stainless steel components that support the food production and pharmaceutical industries. The position involves working the 1st shift from 5:30am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract position based out of Hudson, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
