HUDSON HOSPITAL & CLINICS QA Lead Medical Technologist Hematology in HUDSON, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: The QA Lead Medical Technologist - Hematology is responsible for the technical and regulatory oversight of the hematology and coagulation sections of the clinical laboratory. This includes instrument maintenance, calibration, validation, quality control, procedure updates, and staff training to ensure compliance with CAP and CLIA standards. In addition to hematology leadership duties, this position functions as a generalist, performing and reporting clinical laboratory tests across all departments using a variety of automated, semi-automated, and manual technologies. The position is primarily day shift, with rotation every fourth weekend (12-hour shifts) and occasional coverage of other shifts as needed. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or related field. Current certification as Medical Technologist (MT/CLS/MLS) or equivalent by a national board of registry ASCP. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum two years hospital laboratory experience preferred.
