Our projects are typically for defense, marine, oil & gas, civil (movable bridges) and industrial power unit applications. We are hiring for a summer engineering internship which will consist of time assisting engineering with customer projects, drawings & specifications as well as hands-on experience in our shop.

As an intern, you will be part of the Campus Ambassador Program which provides exposure to a variety of departments at Supreme Integrated Technology, an opportunity to network with interns from our sister companies and present projects you’ve worked on over the summer to top leadership. We value interns as the future of our company and we work hard to ensure you have meaningful projects throughout the summer.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

• Support outside sales with customer communication, system specification and project management.

• Manage relationships with key clients to ensure client satisfaction and develop confidence with client relations.

• Order entry, project management and order tracking in P21 ERP system.

• Work with engineering to assist with system drawings and component specifications.

• Learn about products, systems and vendors to develop a high level of fluid power & application knowledge.

• Support and participate in the organization’s continual improvement program to conform to ISO 9001:2015 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS objectives.

Requirements

Education:

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program for electrical or mechanical engineering, working towards certificate related to the mechantronics or electrical fields.

• Prefer GPA of 3.0 or higher.

• Prefer junior or senior but will consider other class levels.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to work independently and eager to take on responsibilities.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Experience with AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS design a plus.

• Hands-on mechanical aptitude a plus.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Analytical, problem-solving and conceptual thinking skills.
