ManpowerGroup Sr. Process Controls & Instrumentation Engineer - Houston, TX area in Houston, Texas
Our client, in the chemical industry is seeking a Senior Process Control & Instrumentation Engineer to join their team. You will be part of the Process Control & Instrumentation group supporting the plant sites in the Houston, TX. You’ll develop process controls execution strategies in conjunction with overall project development team. You will also participate in P&ID development and Operability and Hazard Reviews
Job Title: Senior Process Control and Instrumentation Engineer
Location: Houston, TX
Pay: $130-$175K plus bonus

About the Role:
Create, check or approve specifications of process control equipment including control valves, relief valves, flow measurement devices, process instrumentation, analytical systems, and DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems
Identify and manage process controls technical risk items
Manage a teams schedule, budget, and quality which can include a local in-house design team, geographically remote engineering and design center, or an outside engineering EPC
Review SIL assessments and author SIL verification
Participate in Control System Design reviews
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
At least 8 years of applicable work experience
Travel is required, both domestic and international; Travel will include trips to plant sites, equipment fabricators, outside engineering firms, and customer locations.
