Exciting permanent Research Scientist opportunity to take part clinical research for development of of therapeutics and projects through assay development, validation, and execution. Work with cross-functional groups on an array of scientific projects.
The Research Associate will focus on tissue imaging and multiplex immunofluorescence (mIF) / immunohistochemistry (IHC) assays . Responsibilities include assay design, development, validation, and clinical sample processing , working closely with scientists and laboratory personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct and troubleshoot mIF/IHC assays , including drug treatment with cell lines and multiplex staining.
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments (e.g., Leica BondRx, Akoya Vectra Polaris, Phenocycler).
Support assay development, validation, and quality control .
Maintain lab equipment, prepare reagents, and ensure compliance with SOPs .
Train new and existing lab staff.
Analyze data using Halo, Inform, or similar software .
Ensure adherence to GLP, ISO, CAP, and CLIA standards .
Qualifications:
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field + 1+ years lab experience .
Preferred: Master’s in Cellular/Cancer Biology, Immunology , or related fields.
Experience with mIF/IHC staining, assay development, troubleshooting , and laboratory management.
Strong data analysis, organizational, and communication skills .
Ability to work in a team-oriented, detail-focused environment .
This role requires technical proficiency, problem-solving, and collaboration to support translational research and clinical sample processing.
