As a Critical Response Unit Lead , you’ll play a vital role in leading field teams to restore commercial properties efficiently and safely during high-impact events.

Key Responsibilities

As a Reconstruction Superintendent , you’ll oversee job site execution and lead crews in completing reconstruction and restoration tasks efficiently and safely. Working closely with Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers, you’ll drive daily operations, ensure quality control, and promote team collaboration. Here’s a snapshot of your responsibilities:

Lead Field Operations : Supervise and direct general labor and subcontractor teams on-site to ensure timely, high-quality work.

Coordinate with Leadership : Work closely with the PM/APM to meet production schedules and exceed client expectations.

Support Restoration Efforts : Execute tasks related to demolition, cleaning, and reconstruction following water, fire, or mold damage.

Train and Mentor Crews : Assist with onboarding and training temporary labor, providing clear instruction and ongoing support.

Maintain Safety Standards : Enforce company safety protocols and ensure all personnel adhere to PPE and job site compliance measures.

Qualifications and Requirements

Experience : 1–2 years in construction, restoration, or demolition; 1 year of supervisory or lead experience required.

Leadership Ability : Skilled in directing teams of up to 10 people and delegating responsibilities effectively.

Technical Knowledge : Background in construction and restoration practices preferred.

Physical Requirements : Able to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in physically demanding conditions (heat, odors, PPE).

Communication Skills : Clear, effective verbal communication; bilingual preferred.

Travel Readiness : Willingness to travel 4–6 hours to job sites and remain on location for multiple weeks.

Licensing : Valid driver’s license required; passport a plus.
