U.S. LawShield Receptionist in Houston, Texas

As a Receptionist with U.S. LawShield, you will knowledgeably and professionally represent the brand while greeting, assisting, and providing direction and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the organization.

To be successful as a Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should also be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. This role may require additional working hours, so flexibility is a plus.

Please note, this is not an entry level position and we are looking for an experienced Receptionist with at least five years of experience within the role.

    Day-to-Day Duties:

  • Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.

  • Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments.

  • Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.

  • Performs administrative and clerical support tasks.

  • Performs clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing

  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationary and material

  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email

  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock

    Requirements and Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., printers)

  • Professional attitude and appearance

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

  • Customer service attitude

  • University/college degree preferred; additional certification in Office Management is a plus

  • Be in office Monday – Friday 8:30AM – 4:30PM
