RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and direct clients and visitors.
- Work Effectively with all departments for maximum efficiency and return on investment in a safe environment.
- Answers phone calls and emails and responds appropriately.
- Set Delivery appointments.
- Interacts directly with Customers, Vendors, and Employees as required.
- Responsible for filing of various documents as well as imaging of documents which include MTR, POD and inventory adjustment entries and or retrieval.
- Order and manage office supplies.
- Purchase order management for the Houston branch.
- Review and proofread documents and make necessary updates and suggestions.
- Perform data entry into spreadsheets as required.
- Check mail, deliveries and distribute.
- Will maintain and manage inventory office supplies.
- Create access badges, grant, and remove access.
- Assist with billing and credits as needed.
- Assist other departments with projects or tasks as needed.
- Participate and complete all required training activities.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment is always maintained.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement for all duties.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or directed.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to greet visitors, clients, and colleagues in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Ability to proofread.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changes as well as maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Must have strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills and be able to prioritize work.
- Ability to work independently and identify and solve problems.
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
- High school graduate.
- 5 years prior work experience customer service and/or Administrative preferred.
EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform computer-related tasks.
- Occasionally lift and move boxes or office supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.
