Insight Global Project Engineer in Houston, Texas

Job Description

Insight Global is hiring for 1 Project Engineer in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have around 10-15 years of experience as a project engineer. They will report to the E&C Engineering Manager and will work with other Project Development and Engineering team members as well as regulatory, contractors, and stakeholders to coordinate the input of all project deliverables and requirements. This position will support multi-discipline engineering teams to successfully deliver all phases of the project and will lead the coordination of work related to project scoping, design, design assurance, hazard analysis, technology selection, scheduling and permitting. They will manage communication of project milestones to the Contractor and Engineering Teams and ensure projects meet agreed deadlines, budgets, and objectives. This position will be based in Houston and will sit in selected EPC contractor's home offices. Occasional day travel to sites to support site investigation and development work will be required.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Project experience working with multidiscipline engineering groups - electrical, instrumentation, processes, etc.

Project engineering experience on development projects such as LNG, oil refining, petrochemical or specialty chemical plant, or midstream storage

Must maintain a TWIC card in good standing status

Familiar with FERC and PHMSA regulatory requirements PE License

Recent experience with LNG projects is highly preferred, however, refining, petrochemical, NGL, cryogenic natural gas processing, or other hydrocarbon processing experience may be acceptable. null
