Job Summary (Purpose):

The Logistics Support Specialist is responsible for optimizing the distribution of propane and identifying scheduling issues and troubleshooting issues for all modes of transportation. The Logistics Support Staff/Representative will manage manual scheduling requirements and is proficient in all distribution programs applicable to this function.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as liaison with logistics support team to correct and prevent data and system issues

  • Analyze issues and issue types in all systems

  • Match receipt and delivery transactions in RightAngle

  • Generate and review search movements report in RightAngle

  • Create and update movement plans in RightAngle

  • Update existing orders in RightAngle

  • Create and update movement documents

  • Actualize orders with existing movement documents in RightAngle

  • Review unmatched orders in RightAngle

  • Manually create BOLs in RightAngle

  • Responsible for creating and managing RightAngle logistics deals

  • Communicate with the MRD for pricing curve creation

  • Track and review complete orders for abnormalities and errors

  • Manage and troubleshoot scheduling issues for all modes of transportation in RightAngle

  • Triage unmatched movement, orders and invoices

  • End of Month accounting support

  • Track and review incomplete orders

  • Track and analyze driver incurred assessorial charges

  • Review ongoing processes and reports to analyze abnormalities and classifications

  • First troubleshooting resource when issues or discrepancies occur

  • Track and review complete orders for abnormalities and errors

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Baseline program proficient? (Patrick); Knowledge of Microsoft office products, such as PowerPoint, Word and, Excel

  • Strong communication skills (both written & verbal)

  • Effective problem-solving skills & acute analytical skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of logistics

  • Detail oriented with strong organizational & time management skills

  • Overtime and After-hour support may be required

Education and Experience Required:

  • RightAngle experience preferred

  • Propane industry, logistics experience, understanding of accounting (recruiting marketing rather than JD)

  • 3 Years of experience in routing or logistics

  • High School diploma required

    The pay for this position ranges from $29.00 to $30.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation includes eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales.
