Hunton Distribution, a division of Hunton Group in Houston, TX (www.huntongroup.com), has a new and exciting opportunity for you to join our organization as an HVAC Inside Sales - Call Center Representative. This position requires a self-starting, well organized individual to develop and maintain industry sales. Customer base will comprise of residential dealers, commercial HVAC owners, and self-servicing end users.

Responsibilities:

  • Ascertain customer's needs/determine equipment solutions.

  • Responsible to manage leads and opportunities from existing, and/or new customer base.

  • Participate with team members to properly identify customers' needs, estimate, design and accurately quote projects.

  • Conducts sales of equipment, supplies, and parts over the phone.

  • Orders required parts and equipment.

  • Answers customer calls and identifies parts and equipment.

  • Coordinates equipment product promotions.

  • Receives and processes customer orders.

  • Responds to customer's inquiries, questions, or complaints regarding products or services.

  • Records changes in inventory status by completing paperwork and updating data base as necessary.

  • Possesses knowledge of the Trane product line to be able to demonstrate and discuss with customers.

  • Entering equipment/supplies/OEM parts orders and returns and all other items related to equipment/supplies/parts order

  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.

    Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Word and Excel required.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • HVAC experience desired.

    Education and/or Experience Required:

  • Associates degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 2-5 years of customer service or equivalent experience preferred.
