Hunton Distribution, a division of Hunton Group in Houston, TX (www.huntongroup.com), has a new and exciting opportunity for you to join our organization as an HVAC Counter Sales Representative. This position requires a self-starting, well organized individual to develop and maintain industry sales. Customer base will comprise of commercial HVAC owners, commercial self-servicing end users, and residential contractors.

Responsibilities:
Conducts sales of HVAC parts, equipment, rentals, and supplies over the phone, email, and with walk-in clientele at store locations.
Develops, maintains, and cultivates new customer relationships.
Responsible to manage leads and opportunities from existing, and/or new customer base.
Possesses knowledge of the Commercial Trane product line to be able to demonstrate and discuss with customers.
Possesses knowledge of various commercial HVAC product lines, including service and supply items - and be able to demonstrate and discuss with customers.
Supports the efforts of the outside sales team through order fulfillment, item identification and sourcing, and customer outreach.
Participate with team members to properly identify customers' needs - then estimate, design, and accurately quote projects.
Works with customers to identify parts and provide technical support resources.
Order products from a variety of suppliers.
Effectively expedites critical orders and sources hard-to-find items.
Actively makes customers aware of product promotions.
May load, unload, or pull parts, supplies, and equipment.
Work effectively within a variety of computer programs to process sales, record changes in inventory status, file warranties, and more.
Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Microsoft Word and Excel required.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
HVAC experience desired.
English/Spanish bilingual, preferred.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Education/Experience Required:
Associates degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.
2-5 years of customer service or equivalent experience preferred.
