Robert Half Financial/Accounting Analyst IV in Houston, Texas
Description Robert Half is seeking a committed Financial Analyst to join a growing company. You will manage financial modeling on a range of financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans in this position. Your other duties will include advising management on the allocation of resources to best achieve objectives and preparing reports for management. As part of a dynamic team, you will be a key business partner in areas including forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. This Financial Analyst role, which is a long-term contract / contract employment opportunity, is based in the Bartlesville, Oklahoma, area. We seek a candidate with a strong work ethic and a demonstrated competency in financial analysis.

Gather and oversee forecasting reports
Uncover the influencing factors that are driving performance and trends
Support contacts in Accounting and Operations to execute business plans
Review annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations
Participate in planning with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
Work with the Accounting group to lead the monthly and quarterly close process
Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support
Maintain weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting
Manage monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required Requirements - Hands-on experience with Compliance Functions
General familiarity with Presentations
Experience with Invoice
Knowledge of Corrective Action
Strong familiarity with operations
Prior experience with Supply Chain Logistics
Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word
Comprehension of Coding
Workstation Support experience highly preferred
Travel experience highly valued
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Analytics experience
Invoice Processing experience desired
Background working with Perform Ad Hoc Financial
Previous experience working with Microsoft PowerPoint
Adeptness in research
Foundational knowledge in Written Communication
Experience with Capital Management
Earlier work involving Liaison
Training experience
Ad Hoc Reporting experience highly desired
Practical knowledge of finance
Deep understanding of Analytical Skills
Good understanding of journal entries
Go experience preferred
Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations
Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement
Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience favored)
BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
Practical knowledge in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
Experience with financial data management processes & systems, e.g. Oracle/Hyperion/SAP Business Objects/SFDC/Tableau- Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing
experience in in Spreadsheet and ERP system
