Job Title: Electrical Helper
Job Description
As an Electrical Helper, you will perform manual processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies using hand, electric, and pneumatic tools. You will report any defective material or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Maintaining a clean and orderly work area and equipment, and following prescribed safety regulations are essential. You will complete tasks as directed by the manufacturing schedule with minimum supervision and perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.
Responsibilities
Perform manual processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies using hand, electric, and pneumatic tools.
Report defective material or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
Complete tasks as directed by the manufacturing schedule with minimum supervision.
Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.
Essential Skills
Basic electrical skills
Experience in electro-mechanical assembly
Experience with wire pulling
Experience as an electrical technician
Experience with conduit and wiring
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year electrical helper experience

Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing environment with concrete flooring and open bay doors. The facility is non-climate controlled, and overhead cranes and forklifts are frequently moving around. Employees need to be comfortable working next to welders.
Job Type & Location
This is a Open ended Contract position based out of Houston, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.
