Job Title: Drafter - Must sit in TX

Job Description

We are currently sourcing for a drafter with over 5 years of experience in drafting using Civil 3D. This remote role supports various projects in Texas, specifically in the utilities sector, including pipeline, fiber, telecom, water, or natural gas projects.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Civil 3D software to create detailed designs and drawings.

  • Support utilities projects such as pipeline, fiber optic, telecom, water, and natural gas.

  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and efficient design execution.

  • Revise and update existing drawings to reflect project changes.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as a drafter, CAD operator, CAD tech, or CAD technician in the civil/utilities sector.

  • 5+ years of experience working with Civil 3D.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and CAD software.

  • Strong knowledge of utilities projects, including pipeline, natural gas, water, fiber optics, and telecom.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with DOT projects is beneficial.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
