Akumin Director of Enterprise Partnerships - Texas/Central in Houston, Texas

The Director of Enterprise Partnerships role is focused on pipeline development and closing of fixed site imaging opportunities in the radiology space. Responsible for achieving annual targets of fixed site growth through current client expansion and organically through new client relationships. Business structures to include joint ventures, mergers, acquisition and/or managed services agreements. Role includes managing business development opportunities, as well as collaboration with business unit leaders, market dynamics and analytics, financial modeling and deal structure teams.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Work collaboratively with all VPs of Business Development (Fixed, Mobile, Oncology) to identify, develop, analyze and secure fixed site imaging partnerships within current Akumin client base.

  • Pipeline development and execution of identifying new, organic fixed site opportunities with potential new health system customers in designated markets, expanding the Akumin footprint to drive new business.

  • Manage internal relationships and communications with department heads to ensure cross-collaboration and avoid disruptions or lack of collaboration engagement.

  • Travel and participation in customer/partner engagements, meetings, andconferences/events.

  • Identify and execute direct team industry and organization training, professional and personal strengths, and development. Supporting the team's consistent evolution of strategy and skill.

  • Completes other job duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience

  • Possesses a minimum of 10-years of sales experience in a healthcare environment working with healthcare systems and IDNs. Includes pipeline development and opportunity management of lengthy sales cycles through to closing.

  • Displays strong business acumen and demonstrates an understanding of healthcare sales to health systems, hospitals and the physician space. Includes understanding of the reimbursement landscape.

  • A proven track record of success in a competitive selling environment is required.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

  • Proficient in analytical and presentation skills necessary to build dynamic presentations and present to hospital c-suite and other executives.

  • 50% travel may be required.

Preferred:

  • Master's Degree (MS, MA, MBA) or Equivalent Experience.

  • 10-15 years of sales experience in a healthcare environment.

  • Prior Radiology experience.

  • Prior experience structuring joint ventures and mergers/acquisitions.

  • Prior finance experience.

Physical Requirements:

Standard office environment. May be exposed to environmental hazards such as exposure to noise, and travel.
