Robert Half Commercial Property Manager in Houston, Texas
Description Our client located in the Galleria area of Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager who is proficient in MRI Software. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing, operating, and enhancing the value of our portfolio of commercial properties.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee operations, maintenance, administration, and improvements of commercial properties.
Handle tenant relations, including resolving tenant concerns, renewing leases, and coordinating tenant improvements.
Handle rent collections, expense control, financial reporting, and lease administration.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure that all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed timely and efficiently.
Review monthly financial and property activity reports and ensure accuracy and completeness.
Utilize MRI Software for property management tasks including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs.
Ensure compliance with property management policies and procedures, codes, regulations, and governmental agency directives.
Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to achieve highest quality at best value.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of commercial property management experience.
Proficient in MRI Software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Extensive knowledge of commercial real estate principles and regulations.
