Jacobs Civil Engineering Professional Intermediate in Houston, Texas

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering Professional Intermediate to work in Houston, TX and various unanticipated worksites throughout the US.

Responsibilities:

Publish comprehensive weekly construction reports for the clients' semiconductor projects, provide critical insights to senior management. Oversee and review multiple change orders via JCAST as the owner’s representative. Monitor weekly construction site progress, proactively addressing potential delays to maintain adherence to stringent project timelines. Analyze communication needs within the large-scale project, implement strategic solutions that reduce miscommunication among contractors and enhance overall collaboration. Develop advanced expertise in work sequencing, cause/effect analysis within construction environments, consistently maintaining a positive and solution-focused attitude in challenging situations. Work at project location and at employer’s offices.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and 1 year of work experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

SPECIFIC SKILLS: Expertise/ knowledge of: Construction Management Skills including overseeing project timelines, allocating resources effectively and ensuring project milestones are met. Complex Semiconductor Facilities, including unique requirements and standards for constructing semiconductor manufacturing facilities. Manage and motivate a multi-disciplinary team. Pre-design and pre-construction, technology and contract management. ProjectSight, Trimble and Navisworks. Semiconductor industry experience.
