Virtual Phone Banker Part-Time Position

Our services include comprehensive campaign program planning, the most effective, highest quality turn-key canvass programs, professional GOTV and community outreach training programs, and modules, voter and specific audience targeting, goal setting, analytics, data management, recruiting, and training highly experienced talent to run large scale GOTV and community outreach programs. We also offer onboarding, payroll, and HR direct support services.

We’re currently looking for a Part-time Phone Banker to join our team to support and move forward crucial community projects through 2024 and beyond. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to voters following a structured conversation regarding the voting process and supporting endorsed candidates

  • Meet daily requirements (dials, conversations, candidate support ranges, etc.) 

  • Participate in training and staff meetings, as assigned. 

  • Correctly document information into the database and be able to report back call results

  • Document any challenges or obstacles encountered on the phone, and be prepared to discuss solutions 

  • Document successes and be prepared to share with others

  • Adjust  work habits as identified for improved outcomes

  • Person MUST be a self-motivated, hardworking individual that has a “want to work attitude!" 

  • Reliable attendance is a MUST! Other duties, as assigned. 

    Position Requirements

  • Has the capability to operate a Laptop, Google Chrome, Zoom, and online programs.

  • Able to independently troubleshoot technical issues such as connecting to a hot spot, computer freezing,  and logging back into applications. 

  • Ability to use a web-based dialer system and to properly log in, log out, and move around  the system as needed

  • Must be familiar and comfortable using tablets/laptops to record information 

  • Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week. Day and shift times may vary and will include evenings and weekends 

  • Passionate about and committed to social and political change in Texas

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellent listening skills and ability to maintain a structured conversation 

  • Ability to work in an organized structured team environment 

  • Willingness to learn and hear feedback for improvement

  • Ability to work entire shift without set breaks 

  • Abie to learn new things such as reading metrics for data analysis and to improve future work
