CIMARRON SOFTWARE SERVICES INC Avionics Hardware Engineer in Houston, Texas
Cimarron is seeking anAvionics Hardware Engineerto support the Axiom Space Commerical Space Station program in Houston, TX. While this program is in the Houston area, the selected candidate for this opportunity can workremotely!
Key Duties:
- Design and develop various hardware, firmware, and software components.
- Conduct thorough testing and verification processes to ensure hardware systems meet specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to integrate hardware systems into space platforms.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation throughout the development process, including specifications, design documents, and reports.
- Provide ongoing support for installed hardware systems, troubleshooting issues, implementing design changes or upgrades, and contributing to the continuous improvement of avionics systems.
TRAVEL Up to 25% REQUIRED/DESIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND EDUCATION
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- 10 or more years of related experience.
- Experience with or knowledge ofAltium Schematic design, layout design, and VHDL/FPGA Core Design.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
