Schlumberger 2nd Shift - Manufactuing Supervisor in Houston, Texas
This position monitors, maintains, and controls direct functions within the manufacturing shop, as well as manages and coordinates process improvement projects.
Relationships: Supervision: Value Stream Manager or Manufacturing Manager
Roles and Responsibilities:
Coaches employees on administrative or technical processes and procedures.
Ensures the safety of employees.
Ensures that workers have the necessary equipment and prints to perform their duties.
Resolves production issues and escalates those that require management attention.
Educates employees on quality standards and procedures.
Ensures manufacturing work instructions and procedures are up to date.
Conducts performance reviews and formal performance/career development discussions with direct reports.
Conducts New Employee/Contractor Manufacturing Induction.
Conducts Weekly Toolbox Meetings.
Maintains Competency Matrix for Manufacturing employees.
Maintains a time-tracking system for employees.
Maintains adequate staffing needs.
Initiates Progressive Disciplinary.
Initiates Root Cause Analysis for all scrap events.
Creates training packets for all employees and contractors.
Educates employees on Quality and HSE standards and procedures.
Identifies and resolves Quality and HSE issues and escalates accordingly.

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2+ years Previous manufacturing experience with previous manufacturing leadership experience preferred

• At SLB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at/near the top of the range. The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000.
