The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in analyzing large datasets, developing machine learning models, and deriving actionable insights to drive business decisions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data and implementing solutions that enhance business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Utilize statistical techniques to analyze diverse datasets and extract meaningful patterns and trends.
Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to address business challenges.
Design and implement data-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency and drive growth.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
Communicate findings and insights effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Who You Are
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R.
Expertise in machine learning techniques, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools.
Solid understanding of databases, data mining and big data technologies.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Fluency in Portuguese and Advanced English are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and distributed computing frameworks (Hadoop, Spark ,Databricks).
Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
Industry certifications in relevant fields (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional - CAP, AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty).
