Responsible for process engineering of several processes and tools within semiconductor device fabrication, in particular in the Back Grind Back Metal semiconductor finishing step. Act as the process owner for glass carriers, which is utilized to bond to semiconductor wafers. Ensure that glass carriers perform as required at all tools, and that they are tracked correctly on the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and removed from the manufacturing line when defective. Own process responsibility for multiple fleets of tools, which includes process controls, lot dispositioning when a wafer/glass lot does not process correctly as well as driving continuous improvement on quality, yield, cost and productivity. Solve line issues so that production occurs at desired rate by utilizing problem-solving skills. Responsible for qualifying tools for production as needed including tools for Bond operation, LTHC - Light to Heat Conversion, and Debond processes. Responsible for directing the activities of several process technicians.Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Material Science/Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related field.
