Summary of Position:
Responsible for day-to-day maintenance and spare parts management of pelleting, packaging & rolling equipment.
Essential Duties:
Maintains and repairs all processing, conveying and packaging equipment used in the production of wood pellets.
Maintains and repairs all mobile equipment utilized in a wood pellet manufacturing facility.
Welding.
Performs electrical and controls troubleshooting and repairs under direction from appropriate support personnel.
Performs, directs and documents preventative maintenance tasks.
Contributes to the production of and adherence to an annual maintenance budget.
Maintains a safe, clean, orderly accident-free work environment.
Adheres to company safety policies and OSHA standards.
Conduct:
Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information.
Represents Dansons in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
Regularly attends and is punctual for work.
Supervision Received:
Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor & Shift Foreman
Supervision Exercised:
Responsible for directing others involved with maintenance activities.
Physical Demands and Environment:
Must be able to lift and carry 50-pound loads.
Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
Must be able to work for extended periods under a wide range of ambient conditions.
Must be able to work flexible hours.
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experienced with all aspects of manufacturing or processing plant maintenance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail.
Show a commitment to teamwork, being results oriented.
Strong interpersonal communication skills and effective organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to interact with co-workers, contractors, and suppliers on a professional level.

Required Job Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
3-5 years experience in electrical maintenance or associated work
Strong verbal and oral communication skills
Strong Critical Thinking Skills
Driver\'s License
Preferred:
Manufacturing/mill: 1 year (Preferred)
Industrial mechanic: 1 year (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: \$25.00 - \$28.00 per hour
Schedule:
12-hour shift
Thursday-Sunday 6pm-6am
