Position Overview: As a PV Superintendent, you will oversee the installation and maintenance of photovoltaic (PV) systems. Your role will involve coordinating with project teams, ensuring compliance with stringent safety regulations, and optimizing system performance. This position is located on a federal base, which requires adherence to strict safety protocols. Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation Oversight: Supervise and manage the installation of photovoltaic systems to ensure they meet project specifications and standards.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Oversee the maintenance and repair of PV systems, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Team Coordination: Work closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and resolve issues.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all work complies with federal safety regulations and company protocols.
  • System Optimization: Monitor system performance and implement improvements for efficiency and reliability.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate reports on project progress, system performance, and any incidents.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve technical issues related to PV system installation and operation.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of photovoltaic systems.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems and PV installation processes.
  • Skills: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities; comfortable with computers and report management.
  • Coordination: Ability to effectively coordinate with project teams and contractors.
  • Safety: In-depth understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Communication: Strong communication and leadership skills to manage teams and interact with stakeholders.
  • Licensure: Electrical Journeyman license preferred but not required.
