Job Description: Hawaii's Best Workplace is hiring for a company looking to hire a Project Manager for a 6-month contract with the opportunity to renew for a year and possible continuous renewal. They are seeking someone with strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities to join their team as a Project Manager. In this role, you will assist in planning and evaluating state budgeting and programming, ensuring compliance and efficiency while providing technical consultation to health program administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief in planning and evaluating state planning, programming, and budgeting.
- Interpret and implement policies and procedures, and recommend departmental policies.
- Oversee and evaluate planning and budget documents to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Provide technical consultation on planning, programming, and budgeting to health program administrators.
- Conduct studies on program effectiveness and efficiency, and present actionable recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in budget management, program planning, and evaluation.
- Proficient in statistical analysis and data evaluation techniques.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with program managers.
- College degree with 3.5 years of experience in economics, statistics, or cost-benefit analysis.
