Job Summary: The primary role of the Lead Caregiver CNA at Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu is to provide essential healthcare and medical services to seniors in the Honolulu, Hawaii area, as well as providing emotional support to family members. The Lead Caregiver CNA will act as a supervisor to the other CNAs in the organization and will be responsible for their degrees of progress, as well as the overall care quality. Compensation & Benefits: The position is a full-time, individual contributor role and pays $18 to $20 per hour, which is to be paid weekly, as well as vacation time and sick days.   Scheduling Options : Flexible scheduling Choose your own shifts Full-time/ Part-time On-call positions Workplace Selection: Multiple facilities to choose from, select a workplace/ Clients that suit your preferences Responsibilities: •Providing high-quality and compassionate direct patient care •Supervising CNAs in the organization, providing guidance and feedback on their progress •Assisting with medical appointments, transportation and scheduling •Providing assistance with personal care activities (i.e., bathing, dressing and grooming) •Grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping •Monitoring the general medical condition of the patient •Maintaining patient medical records and documenting all care provided •Assisting patients with various ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) •Monitoring vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications •Developing care plans and providing education related to the patient’s condition Requirements: •Current CNA license in the state of Hawaii •Previous experience as a CNA •Knowledge of basic medical terminology •Compassionate personality and ability to work with patients of all backgrounds •Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills •Able to work with minimal supervision •Willingness to submit to and pass a criminal background check and drug test   Call for more details: 808-207-8558 To schedule an interview, click here: www.abcoahu.com EEOC statement: Always Best Care Senior Services is an equal opportunity employer that values the strengths and differences of every individual.
