Job Summary Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu is seeking an experienced and compassionate Facility Caregiver to join our team of professionals. The Facility Caregiver is personable, organized, and reliable person who must demonstrate excellent customer service and hospitality. The individual in this role will serve as the first point of contact for our seniors and will be responsible for providing assistance for elderly persons residing in assisted living facilities, memory care facilities, and private residences. Compensation & Benefits This is a full-time position with a compensation of $18-$20/hour with paid weekly. This role will come with a comprehensive benefits package including but not limited to health insurance, paid time off, and other company provided benefits. Scheduling Options : Flexible scheduling Choose your own shifts Recurring shifts, Part-time, Full-time and On-call positions Workplace Selection: Multiple facilities to choose from, select a workplace/ Clients that suit your preferences Responsibilities • Provide assistance with the day to day activities of the elderly residents • Monitor patient wellness and report any changes to the supervisor • Ensure that all medical treatments and medications are administered according to plan • Provide transportation to and from medical appointments and other activities • Perform housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation • Assist with physical therapy exercises, including range of motion activities • Assist with physical mobility including wheelchairs, transfer boards, and other specially designed equipment • Provide a safe and secure environment for the elderly Requirements • Valid CNA/HHA certification and CPR certification • Pass a criminal background check • Ability to work efficiently, independently, and flexibly • Previous experience working with the elderly preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Physically active, able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
