Practice within the guidelines of their state licensing board, American Psychological Association Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and MTF privileges. Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources, as appropriate.
Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders. Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups; help medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries. Assist in rehabilitation of patients. The Clinical Psychologist; Clinical Social Worker are labor categories designated mission essential for the Performance of Services during Crisis, in support of the 15 MDG Clinic located at 755 Scott Circle, Building 559, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Hawaii, that requires continued performance of services during any crisis declared by the National Command Authority or Overseas Combatant Commander, and deemed as vital to mission continuance and essential for continued quality service during any crisis. Schedule and hours of operation for the aforementioned positions will be maintained as normal.
