POSITION SUMMARY

To drive sales for the hotel’s food & beverage restaurants and lounges and develop potential clientele throughout the hotel. To focus on maximizing revenue, building client relationships, and promoting exclusive hotel membership programs (Bonvoy and Club Marriott).

Sales & Business Development

  • Proactively generate leads and secure sales for the hotel’s restaurants, bars, and event spaces.

  • Achieve F&B outlets sales target set by the F&B Management

  • Identify and target new business opportunities, including corporate clients, private events, and social gatherings.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue sales targets.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

  • Conduct client visits and site inspections to promote F&B offerings.

Event Management & Coordination

  • Prepare sales proposals and follow up with clients on business opportunities

  • Ensure all guest enquiries are follow up within 48 hours

  • Record all business leads with status, and reasons for Lost of Business for analysis

  • Arrange on site visits to secure business and entertain clients if needed

  • Prepare Banquet Event Order for confirmed business

  • Collaborate with the events and operations teams to ensure seamless planning and execution of events.

  • Greet and receive organizers prior to the function to ensure that everything is in order and that customers are satisfied with the set-up. Ensure that function details on the signage are correct.

  • Supervise every function until the main course is served. Check accuracy of the bill when required.

  • Provide on-site support during major events to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Follow up with clients after the event to ensure food & beverage and service is satisfactory and obtain feedback.

  • Attend Wedding Expo with Event Team for business leads

  • Prepare monthly Sales Activity Report and review with F&B Management on a weekly basis

  • Liaise with Executive Chef / Chef de cuisine and/or Venue Managers to ensure all menu proposals and beverage list are updated and current

  • Feedback to manager for guest comments and actively involved in improvements.

Membership Promotion

  • Actively promote for Club Marriott and Marriott Bonvoy membership programs.

  • Educate clients on the benefits and privileges of membership, encouraging sign-ups and renewals.

Market Analysis & Reporting

  • Conduct regular market research to understand trends, competitor offerings, and client preferences.

  • Provide sales forecasts, business reports, and pipeline updates to management.

  • Analyze sales data and recommend strategies to optimize F&B revenue.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration

  • Work closely with the F&B Marketing to develop promotional campaigns for F&B outlets.

  • Coordinate with culinary teams to design innovative dining experiences that attract guests.

Job Requirements

  • Holder of University degree or above in Hospitaility, Business Administration or related field

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in F&B sales

  • Good command of both written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin

  • Strong knowledge of Hong Kong’s hospitality and dining market.

  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Self-motivated, energetic, and able to work under pressure.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
