Central Wayne Regional Authority CWRA Utility Maintenance Position in Honesdale, Pennsylvania
Central Wayne Regional Authority owns and operates a wastewater treatment plant in Honesdale Borough, and a sewage collection system in Honesdale Borough, Texas Township and Cherry Ridge Township. The Authority is looking for reliable, self-motivated person for a utility maintenance position. The successful applicant would receive on the job training, which would eventually lead to obtaining their operator's license for the wastewater treatment plant. This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of sewer lines and supporting facilities. A detailed job description is available at the Authority office. The applicant needs to possess the following:
- Minimum age of 18
- Competent in high school algebra
- Able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness
- Be able to follow directions and work without supervision
- Be willing to work in all weather conditions
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
