Insight Global Credit and Collections Specialist in Hollywood, Florida
Job Description
Insight Global's client is looking for a Credit and Collections Specialist to join their team. This role involves ensuring timely customer payments and maintaining accurate account records. On a day-to-day basis, you will review and respond to customer emails about billing and payment issues, follow up on overdue payments via email and phone, perform credit checks for new and existing customers, update credit limits and account statuses, process credit memos, check requests, and debit memos, make collection calls to customers, run and analyze data and aging reports, identify and escalate discrepancies, assist the AR Manager with credit reviews and documentation, and provide backup support for the AR inbox as needed. Pay range is $20-$30.

Skills and Requirements
1+ years of experience in credit, collections, or related financial fields.
Ability to perform credit checks and evaluations for new and existing customers, and update credit limits and account statuses accordingly.
Knowledge of Excel - Pivot tables, spreadsheets, v look ups, basic formulas (medium level excel)
Understanding of credit and collections laws and regulations.
Experience with accounting software/systems.
Experience with credit/collections outreach to direct customers.
*Communication skills- Proficiency in both written and verbal communication to effectively interact with customers, negotiate payment, and resolve disputes. *Experience with Sage Accounting System
