Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Applied Business Acumen:

Requires knowledge of:

Industry and environmental factors (for example, market fluctuations, changes in regulatory policies or politics, emerging technology, cultural practices); Common business vernacular; Business practices across the industry and area-specific domains and related practices (for example, eCommerce, commerce platforms)Relevant ; business metrics, data models, analytics, and reports that assist in decision making.

To evaluate proposed business cases for projects and initiatives. Influences business stakeholder decision making. Translates business requirements into strategies, initiatives, and projects in alignment with business strategies and objectives. Drives the execution of deliverables. Builds and articulates business cases and return on investment and delivers work that has demonstrable value. Derives detailed insights from relevant data models and reports and utilizes models and reports to advise stakeholders and customers/sellers on complex business issues. Challenges business assumptions on topics related to an assigned domain expertise. Develops new, organization-wide processes and ways of working. Teaches and guides team members on best practices. Proactively engages in the external community to build Walmart's brand and learn more about industry practices.

Sales Scoping and Qualification:

Requires knowledge of:

Sales qualification evaluation tools, techniques, and approaches.

To develop organizational sales qualification processes and policies. Mentors team members on alternative ways to evaluate the real value of sales. Designs sales scoping and qualification strategies for the organization. Promotes the adoption of new sales qualification methodologies and technologies.

Strategic Sales Planning and Forecasting:

Requires knowledge of:

Sales planning tools and techniques; Information sources; Estimation techniques and tools; Industry trends.

To establish strategic sales planning standards, policies, strategies, and best practices. Deploys and directs strategic sales planning in multiple and diverse environments and applications. Implements sales forecasting standards within an organization. Develops policies, strategies, and best practices for complex forecasting. Designs industry-wide sales forecasting standards. Promotes the adoption of new sales forecasting technologies and methodologies. Predicts trends and developments in sales forecasting within the market.

Sales Proposals and Presentations:

Requires knowledge of:

Sales presentation tools and techniques; Sales lifecycles and related processes.

To develop organizational strategies for increasing sales through effective proposals and presentations. Mentors team members on the quality of sales proposals and presentations that are designed and developed. Plays a leadership role in the development of sales proposals and presentations for critical customers/sellers. Predicts trends and directions of sales proposals and presentations and drives the adoption of industry best practices as needed. Articulates historical backgrounds and future perspective of sales proposals and presentations.

Negotiation Excellence:

Requires knowledge of:

Negotiation techniques; Stakeholder management techniques; Communication best practices.

To role model the ability to develop and execute effective negotiation strategies that enhance long-term relationships and benefits for all stakeholders at the enterprise level. Leads complex, high-impact, or volatile negotiations involving significant business risks. Sets objectives and establishes tactical approaches for negotiations (for example, defining new pricing model, new ways of contracting). Consults on negotiating complex issues that are generally non-recurring across the organization. Guides team members on the subtleties of negotiating strategic or high-impact agreements. Approves agreement structures for complex negotiations. Diffuses conflict and maintains professionalism to reach compromise if positions or desired results are not attainable.

Product Expertise:

Requires knowledge of:

Suite of products, services, and solutions. offered by an assigned business area; Features of various products, services, and solutions and their value propositions; Product assortment management.

To effectively engage with customers/sellers to gain and leverage insights on their business/category. Demonstrates an understanding of product/solution features for complex to highly complex areas of customer/seller business and assists in sales for products. Leads sales activities for simple and moderately complex products available across homogenous markets and specific customer/seller segments by articulating product/solution features and value propositions. Understands customer/seller requirements in detail and articulates gaps in current product features to leadership teams and relevant stakeholders. Provides guidance to team members on product feature-related communications and best practices with respect to highlighting product benefits and value propositions. Assesses the impacts of the assortment mix and selects methods for translating sales projections and product mix gaps into assortment development requirements.

Financial Acumen:

Relevant financial and business management terminology, metrics, key performance indicators, and drivers of shareholder value; Industry-specific trends and best practices in finance; Financial challenges and issues due to environmental, industry, and economic factors and impacts on strategies, organizational plans, and stakeholders.

To understand and communicate insights from complex and highly complex models customers through effective story telling and data visualization. Leverages insights from complex models to effectively create advertising plans and utilize products to maximize returns for customers. Performs advanced analyses and defines metrics to track the success of business engagements. Provides guidance to team members on drawing relevant insights from analytics to drive sales and achieve relevant metrics. Communicates insights from complex models and analytics reports to diverse stakeholders/customers as needed to challenge and modify current operating models and business plans.

Client Onboarding:

Requires knowledge of:

Existing systems used by customers/sellers; Methodologies for customer onboarding; System integration understanding.

To drive customer/seller experiences by designing a smooth onboarding processes by utilizing domain expertise and industry best practices. Identifies customer/seller pain points and challenges with respect to onboarding by reviewing customer/seller feedback and performing root cause analysis on complex or highly complex issues in processes. Manages highly complex escalations from customers/sellers and maintains relationships through the resolution of issues. Coaches team members on best practices with respect to onboarding to drive great customer/seller experiences.

The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00-$264,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
