Intel Facilities Contracts Manager in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Job Description

  • Develops and manages internal and external relationships to provide sustainable cost, quality, availability and technology solutions while adhering to procurement policies.

  • Partners with a diverse stakeholder base to lead and develop multiyear commodity strategies based on business/market intelligence, long term analysis of the category/commodity and the supply ecosystem.

  • Acquires and maintains industry, market and technical knowledge of commodities.

  • Leads supplier sourcing, selection and performance management. Negotiates purchasing contracts, statement of works and pricing for goods and/or services.

  • Drives cost saving opportunities in partnership with suppliers and stakeholders to meet business objectives.

  • May develop new supply chain models for new or existing products or services.

  • Primary categories supported include but are not limited to: facilities, waste management, caf, and construction services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Arts or Bachelors of Science in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or Construction Management. Master's degree is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of related experience in supply chain management, commodity management, contracts management, construction contracts management or project management.

  • Working knowledge of and experience with procurement policies, contract law and benchmarking concepts. Specific knowledge of construction contracting methods.

  • Understanding of the relationship between contractual responsibilities and assignment of risk balanced with an understanding of the relationships between construction cost, quality and schedule.

  • Strong supply chain, supplier management, and negotiation skills.

  • Strategic skills in managing large construction programs with ability to sense and detect changes in business environment, bringing forth relevant recommendations.

  • Excellent data analytical skills, with the ability to break complex problems into smaller components for resolution. Understand and apply benchmarking concepts.

  • Strong knowledge of contracts, contract law and claims management processes and procedures.

  • Strong stakeholder management- partnering skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively.

  • Ability to effectively influence outcomes with suppliers, business partners, and upper management based on detailed analysis. High tolerance for ambiguity in a highly fluid work environment. Ability to embrace change. Ability to interface with multifunctional groups at multiple management levels across multiple time zones.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
