ITW HR Intern in Hillsboro, Ohio

Job Description:

The Human Resources Intern will support all aspects of the Human Resources function. The Human Resources Intern will be required to work independently on administrative and HR support projects. This position will afford the candidate exposure to various HR functions including Human Resources Information Systems, project management, administrative functions, and assisting in some employee relations support functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Support:

· Assist with posting job openings through HRIS.

· Screen resumes and applications for relevant positions.

· Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates.

· Assist with the onboarding process for new hires.

Employee Data Management:

· Maintain and update employee records in Workday HRIS.

· Prepare and distribute HR-related documents and communications.

HR Projects and Initiatives:

· Assist with HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

· Conduct research on HR best practices and policies.

· Help organize employee engagement activities and events.

General Administrative Support:

· Provide general administrative support to the HR team.

· Assist/support employee relations functions.

Qualifications:

· Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· High attention to detail and accuracy.
