*Job Description: *

Seeking a Senior Systems Engineer -- Specialty Engineer to join our Team!

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Will conduct senior level systems engineering services as well as have technical leadership of the Engineering Team
  • Assist the customer in establishing and maintaining a comprehensive security program for all acquisition and sustainment programs throughout the system life cycle
  • Perform Trusted System Network (TSN) and Criticality Analysis (testing, evaluation and analysis of vulnerability assessments for Critical Program Information [CPI] and Critical Components [CCs] [e.g. Software, Hardware, Firmware, supply chain, etc.]), using different methods and techniques as required
  • Identify and analyze programs' CPI and CCs (Criticality Analysis)
  • Request, review, and analyze programs' vulnerability assessments
  • Request, review, and analyze programs' threat assessments
  • Conduct risk, trade-off, and cost-benefit analyses
  • Develop and integrate system security protection and countermeasures.
  • Develop, review, and manage Security Classification Guides (SCGs)
  • Integrate, consolidate, incorporate, and streamline strategies to minimize or contain risks
  • Manage and distribute assigned SCGs, including rewriting, editing, etc.
  • Ensure Systems Security requirements are accounted for in the Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) process
  • Perform damage assessments involving associated security incidents

Basic Qualifications:

  • Systems Engineering Experience and/or Certification
  • 3+ years of progressive responsibility in providing technical leadership
  • Able to create unified user experiences throughout a given application
  • Experienced with developing and orchestrating usability studies and addressing issues that are discovered
  • Provide technical direction for development, engineering, interfacing, integration and testing of complex hardware/software systems, including requirements elicitation and analysis & functional allocation
  • Conduct system requirements reviews
  • Develop concepts of operation & interface standards
  • Develop system architectures
  • Perform technical and nontechnical assessment & management
  • End-to-end flow analysis
  • Generating and reviewing designs for technical accuracy, completeness and appropriateness
  • Must possess and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance

     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineering License (desired)
  • ICBM acquisition and/or sustainment experience, preferred
  • Additional specialty certification related to firewall, wireless, security or management (desired)
  • Advanced knowledge of monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and Office suite (desired)

     

*Education/Experience: *

  • BS Degree in any engineering discipline + 10 years of related engineering experience, OR
  • MS Degree in any engineering discipline + 7 years of related engineering experience, OR
  • PhD in any engineering discipline + 4 years of related engineering experience

     

*Other Requirements: *

  • S ecret Security Clearance
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
  • Must be able to read and write effectively in English
