Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18 - $20 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Maintenance Technician:

  • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment

  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during

  • production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service

  • Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics

  • Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic duties

  • Troubleshoot faulty machinery and make necessary repairs to production machines

  • Troubleshoot PLC and identify inputs and outputs in Ladder Logic

  • Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments

  • Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment

  • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs

  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

  • Document Maintenance and Repairs in GURU

  • Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

  • Associate degree (A.S) Industrial Maintenance with 2 years' experience

  • Certificate in Industrial Maintenance with 5 years' experience

  • Currently licensed electrician

  • Strong electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with PLC experience and HVAC

  • OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, fundamentals of plane, solid geometry, and trigonometry

  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals

  • Able to respond to common inquiries by members of management, and effectively present information

  • Must have above average skills in the use and application of word processing and spreadsheet software

  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
