Eaton Corporation Production Worker - 1st Shift in Highland, Illinois
Hiring Immediately! Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Production Worker - 1st Shift in Highland, IL. The Production Worker is responsible for work in all departments of the manufacturing plant - Weld, Paint, Press, Packing, Shipping, Mill, and Layout - doing various labor jobs. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. The rate for this position is $18.17 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you’ll do:
Occasionally bend, stoop, squat, and climb heights, but never crawl. Frequently crouch kneel, balance, reach above the shoulder level, and push and pull.
Frequently carry up to 10 to 34 pounds and a little less frequently 35-50 pounds with or without accommodation.
Do repetitive action of simple grasping, and firm grasping is required, however fine manipulating is not used. You also will not be required to operate any equipment that is operated by a foot pedal.
Work around moving machinery, but is not required to operate it. There are NO unprotected heights to work in and the only temperature change is created by the opening of a dock door.
