The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sr. Telecommunications Specialis t to join our dynamic team for an onsite position in High Point, NC. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in telecommunications infrastructure design and implementation for critical projects. As a key member of our engineering team, you will analyze requirements, develop comprehensive solutions, and ensure the successful execution of outside plant (OSP) and inside plant (ISP) telecommunications initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in telecommunications standards, including TIA cabling standards, USAISEC design criteria, and RUS telecommunications standards. You'll leverage your technical skills to conduct site surveys, develop Engineering Implementation Plans, and provide expert guidance on OSP/ISP/Power/Grounding designs.
This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a secret or higher government security clearance. The successful candidate must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time . You should also have a proactive approach to maintaining a safe work environment and excellent communication skills for interfacing with government stakeholders. Responsibilities:
• Analyze requirements, develop solutions, provide list of materials for OSP / ISP efforts.
• Develop, review, and certify Engineering Implementation Plan (EIP).
• Conduct site surveys, document findings, brief Government stakeholders and develop a workable solution ensuring it is within scope, achievable and complies with the customer’s design criteria.
• Provide OSP/ISP/Power/Grounding designs.
• Document engineering solutions and provides support to PM on customer status and review presentations.
• Travel to other company locations or Customer Sites as necessary.
• Proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to EH&S policies and procedures.
Ensure that contract specifications and quality are met whether explicitly or implicitly implied per the following:
• Fiber Optic and Copper Cable Outside/Inside Plant Performance Requirements.
• United States Army Information Systems Engineering Command (USAISEC) Outside Plant Design and Planning Design Criteria (OSPPDC).
• Telecommunications Industries Association (TIA) Cabling Standards.
• Customer-Owned Outside Plant Telecommunications Infrastructure Standard, TIA-758-B, March 2012.
• Commercial Building Wiring Standard, TIA 568-D, December 2015.
• Generic Telecommunications Bonding and Grounding, TIA 607-D, July 2019.
• Rural Utilities Services (RUS) Telecommunications Standards for Outside Plant 1751F-643
• Site Specific/Unique Requirements.
• Attend meetings held on installation/implementation progress for the site/base personnel.
• If required, obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level required to perform the duties of the position.
• Travel to other Locations or Customer Sites as necessary.
• Understand and adhere to all CACI Ethical and Compliance policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 7+ years related experience with Bachelor’ degree in a technical area or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience in related discipline.
• 9+ years related experience with Associate degree in a technical area or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience in related discipline.
• 11+ years related experience with High School degree in a technical area or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience in related discipline.
• Knowledge of Microsoft software applications and other software applications as required (Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Extremely detailed oriented.
• Must be a US Citizen and be able to maintain a secret or higher government security clearance.
• Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
Desired:
• BICSI RCDD and/or OSP Designer Certification.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$78,000 - $163,800
