Fairview Health Services Pharmacist, Casual in Hibbing, Minnesota

Fairview Range is seeking a Pharmacist to join our excellent team in rural Minnesota!

The Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical services, including drug distribution, purchasing and inventory control, drug monitoring, clinical services, education and drug information. Supervision of technical staff.

Schedule: This position is casual, working hours as needed.

Benefits: This position is not eligible for benefits.

As a Pharmacist, you are responsible for:

  • Provide drug distribution services to patients.

  • Performs clinical tasks related to drug usage.

  • Provides drug information and educational services to staff.

  • Maintains adequate inventory of drug and related items.

  • Department management, supervision and direction of technical staff.

  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to assess patient status per stage of growth and development and to provide the appropriate care respective of their age.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Pharmacist license by the Minnesota State Board of Pharmacy

  • Ability to maintain accuracy in all job responsibilities.

  • Clear, concise communication is necessary at all times.

  • Remain knowledgeable on all aspects of drug/prescription interactions and use.

  • Capable of functioning under pressure and in stressful situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous hospital experience desirable, but not mandatory.

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
